I'm currently running AdBrite on my hompage and google adsense through the rest of my site. I want google to show me which ads are being clicked so I can have a better idea of what tyoe of content is paying the bills. Is there any way to get this data. I aslo wish i could drill down in the channels that I created in adsense to see more data, such as which URL led to the click.

    Google, give us more detail.

Ah, but there is competition. What do they "own" specifically? AdSense is not the only pay per click program on the market. They just appear to be a bit more popular.

Each and every site should be approved separately before putting Google Ads on it.
This is a must to remove spammy sites (just madeup to put adsense) and will also prevent adsense bombing.

Something tells me it would take a great deal of time to do that. It would likely not be worth the benefit in time and energy required.

I would absolutely love to see them give us the option of an intelliTXT type of contexual based advertising weighting the ads based on the density of each keyword on the page (so the highest paying ads would be basically what your page is about). Visitors to your site would be more inclined to click topical ads but this would also allow the ability for them to click off-topic ads still using Adsense (hey, any click to boost CTR and $$$ is good in my book). And of course, this can be used in conjuction with adblocks :)

Because the only people not using adsense, are the ones who were banned from it already.

Really? Don't be too sure. You'd be surprised how well you can do with other programs.

Definately need a keyword filter. I don't think they could give us a white list for keywords as that would be prone to abuse, but I think a blacklist would be ok. I'd definately want to filter BLOG related ads. I was having a devil of a time with those for a while. My URL filters seem to have it under control now though, but at one point I was thinking it was going to be my latest "spam" problem.

For the large part, thats right. But, on some of my sites.. other ad programs do better than Google, so it really just depends on your traffic and site.

Would you be willing to share your URL blacklist for BLOG related ads? I don't get too many these days, but once it awhile they pop up!

You guys can check out this article at Slashdot about Google's (confirmed) upcoming payment system (Paypal-esque). It looks as though it is specifically for people like us...

(Sorry, system wouldn't let me put a 'live link')

I would like monthly direct deposit to my bank instead of a check.
