what do you think of my logo? how could i improve it? it was quite a quick job in macromedia fireworks. (photoshop wont install on this comp?) its for my site which is in development at http://www.quiteproxy.net bear in mind this is practically my first ever logo...
Hey, Nice logo. I think the large text is quite nice but i think you should use a different font for the slogan. Beta looks a bit odd to me, not sure why...positioning i think.
Make the T align with the i above (make width a bit smaller) and for the beta... why tilt it more so it has a smaller angle.
Better use badge for the Beta, don't use only one typeface for text logo and slogan, you can see some sample of text logo in web2logo.com
Check this out to get a slightly more web 2.0 look: http://www.teknobites.com/2007/05/14/create-web20-logo-with-fireworks/ Or search for web 2.0 [graphics prog youre using here] tutorial Good luck Notting
How could you improve it would depend solely on what you want it to look like. Because to some people it would look nice just as it is, while others might want a more corporate approach or modern and so on and prefer a it have a different font, boldness and blah blah. If you want it more web 2.0 then it would be helpful to find some logos online that are in a web 2.0 style you like and post them here for everyone to see so that anyone can better advise what you can do to make improvements to your existing logo to get the exact or near exact effect you want. I, personally, don't like big logos when I visit websites. Nor do I care for that font you used. Buuuuuuuuuuuuut I find your logo in its current state pleasing to look at overall (color choice helped in that) and I like how you did the beta shape. But again improvements depends on how YOU want it to look - if that's how you want it then no improvements are needed. Great start by the way.
I think the colors are good but they don´t fit together very well. Maybe it would be better to take shades of the same colors that are more equal. Like mabe a green that is a little darker and less "shiny". Can´t say it very well in english
Looks ok, however you could increase the size and improve upon the font in your tagline. It just gets overwhelmed by the first line.
the logo is alright, especially the quite part, I love it! You should think about an icon to complement the text.
clean and clear, good enough for a user not to complain about it. u can keep .net in a different color.
I'm not particularly impressed with this at all, sorry. Nothing original or unique here. It's just some text styled in the all so familiar web 2.0 theme. You could easily create a similiar looking logo in literally seconds by using an online generator. There are literally tons of them.
