whats more important links or content?

I agree with everyone else you really need both

 

content-and that too quality content,not any rip-off is the primary thing. Building links (IBLs) would only complement it.

 

going for both content as well as back links also,
and i preferred unique content and related back links.
and remember if you wants to clap then you have to use your two hands otherwise you can't clap

You can't separate them. Your site won't get noticed if you favour over the other.

 

Yes you can but for that, your site need to be of very high authority and their should be no competition, and its getting difficult day by day to get both the condition fulfilled, specially the no competition thing.

Both of the have the same importance. You need a balance of the two, if you have more of one but less of the other, you won't be successful and vice versa.

 

You can just add content to your site, if and when done correctly - the links will come automatically, you don't need to chase links or build them yourself, just add some content to your site and wait for the links to come in ....

I believe 95% of time should be spent on your site and 5% should be spent promoting your site - and many do it the other way around.

 

You definately need both, although I have got a site to the top 10 in Google for most keywords with only about 4 - 5 links. It depends on your competition though too.

 

Even if you are able to achieve. still it is of no use. Both should be accurate according to your buisness
