I read with great interest the topic in another affiliate marketing forum called: “What’s stopping you from making a living online?†I was going to reply to it, but felt it would be best for me to concentrate on the antithesis of this question and offer, “How to make a living online?" We all know the reasons why people are stopped from making a living online. The reasons are legion, but basically boil down to lack of appropriate characteristics, realism, education, training, skills, organization, planning, effort, and actual work. These reasons are really no different from the reasons most people never achieve their potential in anything. So, how do you make a living online? I call it PST. What is PST? Basic Principles – an elementary "guiding sense" of internal rules Time-Tested Strategies - a series of "procedures" which have worked repeatedly Innovative Techniques - creative "modes" to gain customers and opt-ins Now, there are a lot of people out there in affiliate marketing, but most of them are just "wannabes" or scammers. They run websites, create forums, produce rehashed publications or software gimmicks. The great majority of them don't really know much about affiliate marketing. They just want to make a buck. They have little or no PST. The "true†affiliate marketer in every sense of the word, whether newbie or old-timer, has an abundance of PST, and isn’t even thinking about not making a good living online.
