What's hot in web marketing?

    I am thinking about what could become potentially a hot trend in Internet marketing? Video ads, call back ads, or any fee tools? Any ideas?

    Podcasting as a marketing tool is still relatively new and has a lot of room to grow. Video ads are probably a good idea, as you said.

    would you be able to shed some light on the term "PODCAST".. i heard it alot of time but never got the right explanation... thanks for the help..

    Read up on PODCAST and V-cast. This is good stuff. The key is to pad as mush transparent advertising as possible. Kinda like a new age Paul Harvey radio show.

    Well podcasting and videocasting can definitelly be a good shot today - I can imagine those adding to my site right away! ;) I guess one can catch the geeky and horny audio and video-folks who hate reading whatever...

    And actually, I have some colleagues who are playing around with podcasts now to see if they'll work for them. One of them mentioned www.gcast.com. I believe they let you create free ones (they're the same people that run www.garageband.com). I haven't tried it yet, but if anyone else has used the service, I'd love to hear how it turned out ... or if there are others you'd suggest. I'd like to try my hand at podcasting for one of my new sites launching soon. :)

    video / flash ... even with simple words will work amazingly... u just gotta do it to catch the eye, even just BLAA.COM scrolling in from the side then wobbling when it stops... simple stuff can work wonders if done right... i don't think anything particulary hot will become apparent .. music / across the screen animations might get more popular as more ppl can do them but it will irritate a lot of ppl too so advertisers who have an image to maintain will stick with conventional methods and just make them more interesting
