Whats Good plugin to block spam??

I've been getting to many spam comments on Blogging The Movie. What's a good plugin I've seen the adding plugin, or fill in the name. Any suggestions on which one is good and where I can dl it?? Thanks.

 

Akismet is probably the best. Look em up and see if it'll work with your blog.

 

Yep. Askimet. It comes bundled with Worpress so all you need do is get a Wordpress API and activate it. You can do all this from the WP admin control panel.

 

I heard of spam karma but I guess Akismet is the best around. It blocked about 20 spams for me a day.

Akismet is good, but I'm still getting a bit of spam. Seems to be a lot of Halloween costume spam. Maybe it'll stop in a week

I would suggest akismet with some type of number addition problem verification.

 

If you use Askimet there isn't away on this planet that spam gets in. I've been using it for some years and it hardly let spam pass.

 

i have askimet.. but where do i get the plugin where users need to do math.. or type in a capche code.. to enter a comment

 

i have the same opinion. Since i started using it i am very relaxed. many spam comments have been blocked by akismet. i have about 100 spam comments / day and akismet is dealing very well with them.

 

Upload Akismet wordpress plugin, you will be free from SPAM. Just click on the button you will be deleting all the spam messages.
