guys recently google removed side adds in their search panel, currently it is showing empty in the right side. does any one have an idea of whats is going to be replaced in the right side ads.
For now, I guess that Google is not gonna place anything in right sidebar. However, this makes the PPC ads very costly and at the same time organic results are pushed down more. If local packs appear for a search term, i fear that nobody will actually click on organic search results.
Top 4 search results are replaced with ads! Or GG going to change anything this big again! IT's my opinion! thanks
May be it will remain empty as the user has more options to click on paid ads. 4 at the top 3 ad the bottom.
The new changes have been in the works for years as Google has been testing top-ad only SERPs since 2010. The difference is that now the lack of text ads on the side will be visible on every screen across the globe, in all languages. But the side rail will not always be empty. Google has been experimenting with product listing ads and ads in the Knowledge Panel, and we are likely to see more volatility within the SERP results as they find their place.
