So i listed my site like 1.5 months ago and I still get zero people from yahoo. Yah they have some material on my site but still nothing. Does yahoo take a long time to list sites??

    HEEEELP!

    Much appreciated

I have almost a 1000 pages indexed by google for a site of mine and only 200 or so with yahoo, so yes they do take longer to index and there is less yahoo traffic in general. Although I have found what few yahoo visitors i do get seems to be more valuable in the sense that they stay on my site longer. If you have a rss feed on your site add it to a few my yahoo accounts to get crawled a little faster.

What do you mean you listed your site with Yahoo? Did you use the Submit a Site form? If that is what you are talking about, it is next to useless.

Do you expect your site to be listed high in the search results already? What do you expect in 1.5 months?

Paying Yahoo for the site review does not guarantee that your site will even get listed, it just guarantees that a Yahoo rep will look at the site in a given period of time!

Ahh I see, thanks very much for the input! It makes sense! It is just weird to think that there is really only one player in town! Google is amazing!

Try getting some inbound links from sites that have a PR rank of 3 or above, PR 7 would be better. Submit a couple of articles to article directories such as ezinearticles

It can take a long time to index your pages, to speed up the process try building back links to your site
