I was doing some googling this morning and did a search for "inurl: instantspot.com", accidentally leaving a space in there. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&hs=IP6&q=inurl%3A+instantspot.com&btnG=Search And what I found was seemingly random websites that contained links to member sites on the InstantSpot network intermingled with all sorts of spam-like text/links. Asian porn, medicine, etc. I know there is little we can do about removing those links, but I have some questions about the practice. What does that do to our google results? Why would somebody add our links into their spam? Thanks!
How does placing links to sites on my network help/hinder/etc their spam content? I just can't seem to understand the motive here.
