I am not used to rant about anything, but now I feel like it and this, as I read, is a place that fit with the subject. I don't get offline entrepreneurs. Some of you with experience developing corporative websites or application might understand my frustration. They want to be online. Not because everyone is doing it but because they will be left behind if they don't. Most business I mean. There would be some other models that might not require a website or any other modern media to help them grow up. However, some entrepreneurs are "aware" in the best cases about the necessity of their companies getting into the ferocious virtual world. What I don't get, is the narrow minded enterprise owners that are not willing to pay a fair price for development. This of course, is just the tip of the iceberg. Other employees must accept whatever minimum wage the "exploiter" is willing to pay. As a consequence, employees will feel no loyalty whatsoever and even try to damage the company somehow just to feel "even". If you are reading this and you are an entrepreneur, consider to reconsider your position and pay fair salaries. Pay what is fair to pay no more, no less. A company must use internet to market riding the trends wave. A company would survive only guided by a visionary. Those who have their rules graved in stone, will be sinking with their ship sooner than a fly's life time. About creating a website for a company, the resources with the responsibility to provide the core structure and content, would have the initial task that in the end, will determine the success or failure of the project. If you are paid by the hour, you would feel uncomfortable with the idea of delay on delivery time. If the reason is lack of information, everybody like Pilatos, will wash their hands. Entrepreneurs, remember that you are the captains and your ships represent hundreds of lives. Don't play with numbers and you will be rewarded with a crew willing to give their most precious treasures (like youth ) in the name of your enterprise, which in the end, will be felt as their own endeavor as well.
