Funny thing - looking through my PM box and keeping up on people I've contacted and talked to here before, I surprisingly find many banned - It surprises me because I had good interactions with these people - some did work for me, others have offered good free products ... I just want to know are they tight about banning here? What are the rules, etc - I don't accidentally want to get banned myself!
Dont bump threads, dont make another account, dont spam and dont call that thick head gtech and his friends names.

That was a joke, I called someone a name at the same time telling to not call people names. If you call someone an idiot, moron, a**hole or something you can get an infraction even if its true.
directing profanity or an insult at a specific individual will more then likely get you an infraction. using profanity in an off-hand way, thats not directed at anyone at all, is allowed when used very moderately. excessive use of profanity will probably also result in an infraction.
Yep that's right, well said! I don't know why people push themselves to get banned anyway. My point is when you have 9 infractions you should lay off some posting till you get back to 5 or 6.
Themselves, they don't follow the rules. Just look I bet you 99 out of 100 people banned have 0 rep! Those who have 2+ rep bars should not get banned but that is just my opinion.
Getting banned and reputation is two complete different things. How does reputation that is given to you by other members of DP for any reason, gives you a right to avoid a ban ? Does higher reputation gives you the right to break forum rules ? I don't think so.
