So lets just say that you've written a killer article to submit to directories that you are proud to put your name to and are sure will help others in their quest for information like you have written. What do you do to effectively get the most out of the article? Submit to multiple directories or just one? Promote the article? Any techniques? like linking techniques etcetera (nothing blackhat)
This is my strategy and it has worked well for me: 1. I submit the article first to ezinearticles.com 2. I then spin the article and submit it to multiple directories using an article submitting desktop program (each article submitted is spun and therefore somewhat unique). 3. Finally, I submit the spun article to a favorite public blog network of mine and that puts 50 versions of it onto various blogs within my niche. That way, I am able to squeeze that absolute most out of each article. Notice that the pure, un-spun version goes to ezinearticles.
First is the content of the article, the best original content more popular, easy to submit to some good sites to be included in the article.
Submit the article to a high quality article directory (which you believe is the best for you, dont go by advices, as each directory has its own requirements and approval delays etc) Then rewrite the original article at your convenience, rewrite at sentence level as it gives much more uniqueness, if you want to make it foolproof then rewrite the seed article (article rewritten at sentence level) by adding synonyms to many words in that. This makes it almost 100% unique each time. Now submit these to all the available article directories, with one link pointing to your money site and the second link pointing to the first article link (the one which you submitted to the high quality article directory) Follow this twice in a month for each of your site and you will get decent enough rankings in SERPs in two months time for low to moderate competition keywords, for high competition keywords you need to mix it with blogposts submissions, blog review, guest posting in blogs etc to get link diversity and gather whatever links that come your way.
The best way to get out the most from your best written articles - publish on your own websites or blog. They should be considered as gold mines. You may consider submitting another articles to directory but should not be the one that already published on your website. I would consider one article - one website for a good strategy. How one articles spread over the globe could benefits you? Only duplication and nothing gained.

You can create a short article about your services as niche as possible and submit it to high PR Article submission sites it will surely help in extending number of backlinks.
I submit the same content to all directories in my list. But I will submit to established directories like Ezine first to make sure they approve it. Then I will spin the articles and submit them on Blog Network. This is effective for keyword ranking. At blog networks, you pay $37-$97 per month, depending on the network you choose, and your articles (the spun version) get distributed continuously. I can expect 20-50 publishes/article/blog network in a month. Imagine if you submit over 20 articles per month - it is surely worth the monthly cost.
I always post all of my article at ezinearticles, everyday only 2 articles. I expend more time to promote my article by giving link juice. Also a strong call to take action method to get maximum number of leads.
