anything is good but on average I get less than 1%

for instance right now I have had over 4000 hits today and only 1 click. My users just dont like clicking :)

Well, maybe your ads are too diverse for them :p I went to your first site in your profile and got adsense ads for Paypal, Beef Jerky, and Designer handbags. Guess you're going for the wide-audience appeal, eh? :p

    Mine averaging 5% and 250 visits/day for a site covering A to Z (500+ pages).

Clicks for insurance and mortgages give fairly good earnings. Some clicks suck - games, puzzles, music, etc.

Nobody clicks ads at my Adsense site. Possibly because Adsense-savvy visitors would ignore them or copy and paste interesting URLs.

Anybody making Adsense money with Chinese Language sites?

I have BestWebsites.cn and many yet-to-be-developed sites with Chinese domains.

i have never had a CTR of over 1% but am starting to build better CTR since making changes to my sites. I am also trialing other methods as well.

Today has been my highest CTR in about a year which is just under 1% When I first started about 2 years or more ago I use to get a CTR of about 10%

Targeted traffic should get you between 10-15%. If you get less than something is wrong. Go back to the drawing board.

I guess it depends on referrer of vistors as well. Vistors sent by Google tend to click and raises the CTR, but most of visitors are via Blogroll and gives me 1.5% :(

almost any site should be atleast 3% CTR, but it all depends on the niche. but even with a bad niche, its all about color and placement.

i have a brand new site, which just got its first 3 clicks- .61 ctr and $2.18 cpm. I dont know if this is good or not, but from the percentages you guys are listing, it sounds like I can do better...

-with total earnings of $1.03 for the 3 ads.

i agree, my first post said any site should get atleast 3% with good placement, but thats not really true, forums and generally a lot lower because of the amount of traffic, and the reason people visit the site.
