I wonder if what search engine give more search traffic if you have the ranking? Does your ethnicity or place affects it?

Google owns about 75% of the search market globally, yahoo has a pretty good share only in U.S. So i think it is a no brainer which search engine you should be worried about. And basically if you will rank good on google, you have good chances ranking on other search engines, as the google algorythm is one of the most accurate ones.

So it seems Google rank is much better? Not depending on where part of the world you are. Thanks for your replies guys.

If you rank really well in Yahoo or Google, they will both help, Google just might help you get American traffic more, but Yahoo will get you traffic from overall the whole world (different areas). Amount of traffic might be better from Google though.

Personally I like to rank higher for Google. But Yahoo is not bad, I get more than 5K UV from Yahoo on one of my sites for ranked 2nd place.

Yes google really is for browsing, but it seems yahoo is not only for browsing, it much more known for the latest news, technology, people, entertainment. What I'm trying to point out is beyond being a search engine. Does Yahoo! gave more European traffics right?

I run 80% from Google search, 10% from Yahoo search and 10% from all other search engines. My site is in the top 5 in all engines for it's purpose.

    Google is King.
