    Hello DP'ers
I wonder what you have choosen for articles on your directory sites (for better s e o)?

Im thinking shall i add articles (self written, not from submitters) to a directory article section (Im using PHPld), or better to add wordpress blog in addition and submit articles there?

Wordpress probably the best for seo or directory script not much worst than wordpress for articles?

Thank you in advance for your thoughts and suggestions :)

I would go with Wordpress. It has some awesome SEO plugins and personally I feel Google loves quality blog posts, and WP gives you the maximum flexibility in terms of a blogging/article platform.

Writing your own articles, you can't do any better than that :)

I can't speak to how well phpLD handles articles. But, their main rival didn't offer what I needed, so I went with WordPress.

Keep in mind that you will be essentially running two separate sites on the same URL. Searching on one will not yield results on the other. You'll also have to hand code links from one to the other. I didn't think either was a good enough reason to use a less robust writing platform so I use WP.

We have more coming in the "article department" soon for phpLD, but I certainly admin wordpress is great for articles. We'll be at least closing that gap some soon.
