What's better? Rank.No. 1 or Rank No. 2,3 or 4 ?

    Number 1, because once you go to the top of SERPs, you can accumulate higher traffic and more ROIs.

    #1 is always the best... i was ranking very high competitive keywords with many websites (getting 1000 unique +++ / month from a keyword)
    before being #1 i was on positions #35....#20......#5....4..3...2.... and i can tell you that #1 is the best

    If you are comparing relative positions of the same page then of course number one is the best. But when a site with a relevant, attractive title and snippet is in position two or three and those above it do not have attractive or relevant titles or snippets then I would doubt this.
