Whats better PR7 Link or five lower PR links?

Hi guys,

What is better in your view. One PR7 backlink from an unrelated niche site, with lets say 20 OBL.... or five related websites with PR1 - PR3?

Let me know your thoughts.

There are a lot of variables as far as relevancy and other things but if I had my choice of all perfect links I would probably go with the PR 7 if I had my choice as they are a lot more rare and hard to acquire.

 

Ehh... hard to say. Is there ANYTHING related between the site and the PR7 site. Like are they both blogs?

 

No PR7 is a mobile phone blog, and the other site is about US NFL

 

the quest is will the increase in PR ( likely to jump to pr 4-5 from the 1 pr 7 link alone) give you a higher serp than 3 more relevant links.

9-10 the pr 7 link is worth more.

I Don't really believe that 1 site that is pr 7 will get you to the first page of google and lets not kid ourselves this is where you want to be!It may take many pr 7 sites to get that 1st page ranking so I think that the number of sites are important also.For instance goarticles website has a pr 5 or so and I can't get to pg 1 of google "all the time" With that 1 site and the same with squidoo it has a high pr but this site by itself won't get me to pg 1 but if I send a bunch of links to that squidoo lense it may get pg 1 on google , so that being said I believe that having more links that have at least a pg of 3 are more important than 1 link, but you can have a thousand links that have no pg rank and it will do nothing in my opinion so it has to be higher pr sites. I like blog commenting because the links keep rollin in even after your comment has posted it's great!

So bottom line = Both pr 7 and many other pr 3 or above

 

Which has the best chance of bringing traffic that may convert into sales ? Who cares about the PR, We need people to buy stuff !

 

That's a tough decision, but for me I'd have to go for the related PR1-3 websites.

 

If you can't get both, I'd opt for the site with the higher PR. (Assuming the same relative # of outbound links on site). But I would always choose the site that is going to drive more targeted traffic and increase conversions / sales...

 

I would say it all depends on the relevancy of the links. If these low PR links are more relevant then you should go with them.

 

I think the relevancy of links is more important then PR.Also from relevant site you can get traffic.

I suggest you to go for PR7.

Just make sure it is dofollow, otherwise, you won't gain any page rank.

 

To me, I would say one good and quality PR7 will be much better than several weak PR links.
