I've always wondered whether to write one article a day for pretty good respect from Google... perhaps some sort of bonus like "This guy produces daily, let's crawl him often and rank him high on SERP". But I do wonder... I see some websites that post three times, four times.. five times a day! Sometimes more!! Does this have an effect on Google? Has anyone done "daily posting" for a long time, and then when you started doing "more than daily posting" you noticed a large increase in Google Traffic??? What do you think?
Posting daily is great, posting more than once daily is even better (provided you are posting useful and unique content of a decent size). If G notices that you're posting more everyday, it will come to your site more often to index your pages. If you have more indexed pages in G, you're more likely to get more visitors (ie more traffic) and you will be able to earn more money. What you need to understand is to provide something useful and unique. Unique content doesn't bring traffic to your site, but useful and unique content does. Get it? If you write a post about what you did yesterday, chances are that it will be unique but who cares about that (maybe your loved ones) but if you write something like "10 ways to lose weight naturally", you'll see that you're going to get more traffic as people are constantly looking for ways to be slim.
Posting daily is great, but the quality of your post is more important. Then it will generate more quality traffic for your site
you will find different opinions for this question.... As far as our experience ,one can create multiple links in a day but it must be from different websites .Also if your site is new -one or two month old its better to start link building with low speed. Web Site with large number of pages and older then 3 month you can create as many as link you want .(Yes, you have to take care about content, quality of your bank links )
dont worry about daily postings.does darren rowse blog daily ? not not at all.Just concentrate in providing viral posts.
ive been posting more then daily now for about a week. and to be honoust i do see a small increase of traffic. but this is because i socialbookmark all my posts. so naturally it gets more traffic.
For me frequency of posting doesn't seem to make much difference. It's the content of the posts that matters. Some of my most visitred posts are my oldest posts.
It is definitely better to spread your posts to keep your blog updated daily. Consistency is more important to attract the crawlers.
Posting a long in-depth article on a daily basis works better (INHO) than posting a bunch of short articles.
The question you should be asking yourself...if I am going to be posting multiple times a day, are they doing to be quality posts? I saw post as many quality posts as you have the time to make.
In my opinion (+ exp) posting more than daily is better. Your site will be clawed faster and you got more change on Google Search page. Just a small drawback, readers don't like it
What do you mean by more than daily? If you are going to post 2 articles a day then couldn't keep it up for the long run. Do you think that your readers wouldn't leave you?
I prefer to read blogs with good info and quality, there is no need to post daily. Also I dont like to get too many emails if I subscribe via email. so I think good posts like 5/10 once a week is enough.
I see some websites that post like 6-7 articles a day. I was wondering if that gave them some sort of BONUS in google. Or is it their quality posts that got them where they were. I was wondering if any of you were posting daily, but for a week you tried posting multiple times a day, and saw an increase in google traffic. I know quality matters, but sometimes you can't find anything thats really going to attract hundreds of people, you make quality articles but they don't do much, or they're not linked or anything.
I like the idea of Quality and Quantity at both - and so do Search Engines considered that those content you roll out are of quality. Search Engines are pretty much programmed so anything not over done should be fine. Just my 2 cents guys. So let's keep on working on our content.
