IE sucks. I'm surprised that a lot of people prefer IE > FireFox. I suppose the latest version of IE is a little better. But it's firefox all the way for me!

Firefox also very good. The reason that I like IE is mainly for supporting VB Script on client site. As for example visit this link. In IE, if you give http://www.anysite.com in Website URL field, and click at any where, it'll show you this Error! Give proper domain name. But in Firefox, it's can't execute the script.

For me it’s Firefox, because it’s faster, safer, and I’m used to it.

I prefer IE7. I think that webmasters should use what ever most of their visitors use.

Firefox is way over IE which has problems respecting standards. I think a real webmaster only uses IE for testing :)
For day to day browsing Opera is better than firefox in my opinion, but Firefox has the advantage that it supports extensions.

What's better? Firefox hands-down, and there have been tests and graphs that show memory usage and speed, along with security features and everything else with the 2 different browsers. Firefox is ultimately better in every area. I don't know why IE has more votes in this poll.

Firefox now is more popular than IE since many handy and useful add-ons (or plug-ins) featured by firefox unlike IE, only limited add-ons...

For SEO, firefox is more helpful....

I prefer to use IE - pages are rendered better. Lots of guys I know use Firefox until they need to print a page, then they switch to IE.

The main reason I used Firefox was the tabbed browsing. With the advent of IE7 I no longer have any use for Firefox. Besides that, Firefox crashed on me more often than Explorer.

Even if FF is superior it all comes down to what your website visitors want - and that is still IE by a wide margin. I do agree that a real, professional webmaster should design pages that are compatible with all of the major browsers.
