Their is some artical that actually proves IE is better then FF. I like IE more, IE8 bèta is what i'm using now.
I certainly know which I prefer to develop for. I can't stand putting a ton of effort into a site and seeing it look beautiful, only to check it in IE and see it all fall apart. Why they can't follow the standard like Firefox and Safari is beyond me.
I voted for FF, but FF3 is busting my balls. I'm strongly considering uninstalling it and going back to FF2 if I can find a copy. I find it sluggish and buggy. The main reason FF appeals to me over IE are all the extensions, but most haven't been updated for FF3 yet. Maybe when they are - a FF fixes some annoyances -it will feel normal again.
I like Firefox, but also use IE and Opera for testing my websites. Firefox is faster then IE, but eat up a lot of resources..
As a developer, I would say firefox. IE is just a big pain (especially IE 6). I mainly use IE for testing, never for browsing. When I see someone I know using IE, I immediately convince them to use firefox after which they never shift back to ie
I think Firefox is has a much more efficient "favoriting" feature, which is crucial for the research that I do.
Amen. It took a while for me to get a copy of FF2 again. But still yes, I'd choose FF over IE anytime. I honestly don't know why IE continues to be stubborn like that. Like how designs in most browsers work and then falls apart on IE. They're already in version 7 right? You'd think they'd have improved that by now.
The only people who use IE as their default browser are those who haven't actually given Firefox a fair chance.
IE is winning the poll by 2 to 1. That's Nutz!! Firefox is hands down the better browser for designers and developers... Now for the "average" user...they typically don't give a rats ass about FF.
Anyone have a link for FF2? I dunno about FF3....but I sitll prefer it to IE7 The average user uses IE by default cuz they have windows.... ITs also the only reaosn live.com ro msn.com have any traffic
