I will vote for Firefox. There are so many plugins and extensions that you can use. Although Chrome is very fast, no doubt. I found that these days we use so many of the Google and Microsoft services, just think - browser, mail, search, ads, maps, documents, spreadsheets, videos... I personally always try to use various products from different places instead of been dependent from one source.
Hello... To be honest, i haven't tried chrome yet but may try it one of these days... I like everything about Firefox and use it most, but rarely do i use IE thx malcolm1
I would have said Firefox in a heartbeat, but lately Firefox has been extremely buggy, very slow, and crashes for no reason. I'm currently using Chrome, but neither am I gonna say it's better - because it's not. I just don't know what to say anymore.. . . . I currently hate all browsers, yep, that's it.
With the new update, I would have to choose Google Chrome. I've been using it for a year since I had to change my web browser because Firefox is extremely slow when you've opened more than three tabs. Yugo,
Firefox is the best IMO, but the future versions developers should pay more attention on memory consumption. Chrome is also very good and fast browser.
Google chrome hands down, very simple but at the same time does everything firefox does and more convenient. Google chrome does not crash like firefox either. Firefox is just as clunky as IE and I have a 6GHZ 2GB memory system. I just want Roboform and google toolbar addon!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think most of us preferred firefox since it has much of plugins we need, plus performance wise its still one of the best amongst the three.
I use Firefox for the development and logging into secure sites. Firebug makes development of webapps a dream. Roboform makes logging into all my accounts super-crazy easy. I don't use Firefox for my daily surfing anymore because I leave my windows and browsers open for weeks at a time. Sometimes I'm at 50-100 tabs. Some stupid flash plugin or script always causes my firefox to use extra cpu or memory and my only recourse is to kill firefox and reopen my tabs. I got sick and tired of doing that. So now I use chrome for my daily browsing. I just run it in incognito mode, which basically runs in stealth mode and never saves crap on my disk. Chrome has the unique benefit of being able to run each tab as a process. This is super useful if I need to kill a tab which has a runaway process that's eating memory or cpu. I don't have to reopen everything anymore. Just be sure to run unchrome to get rid of googles spyware crap.
Firefox The Best Browser!! We Get Many Addons ... an easy to tweak ... fast!! Chrome and IE are just gud Browsers!!
^ It took me a while to get used to chrome (I like what I'm used to) but now that I have it's a perfect browser even without add-ons
Firefox was really good until recently (suddenly crashes for no reason, can't restore tabs sometimes), but you can have PageRank displayed in it. So that's a big plus. Maybe I will try out Google Chrome soon. Just for the sake of it.
** Guys I have been a big time lover for FireFox, trust me Chrome is way better, give it a week try, you will see the results, although it doesn't have add-ons it will in the near future. Chrome is the way to go, I used to hate tabs, but Chrome made me love them, its way faster, just try it!!
