whats better? /dir/ or /dir.html

    I depends on what you want to achieve with that.

    I would go for www.site.com/dir/ or even dir.site.com (but there is another debate here)
    since that makes it easier for users (easier to remember especially for non technical people, easier to write ...)

    I would choose www.site.com/dir/ if you are doing this for linkbulding for seo purposes

    its for an arcade site, right now i have it as:

    category/action/
    and
    game/1/

    I was thinking if I should change it to:

    category/action.html
    and
    game/1.html

    Hi

    In that case I would leave it as it is for the 'Action' but for the Game, I would have a dedicated page with full name on it... I guess that would be logic ...

    I agree, i was going to do that, i guess i just didnt have time right then, and didnt...

    I was going to do /game/name/ but then multiple games could have the same name, and i would need to do /game/id/name/
