What's Better: Article Submission or Directories - for backlinks?

What do you guys think is better for getting keyword rich backlinks to help in search engines?

Spending a whole day submitting to directories...
Or spending the whole day writing unique articles and submitting them to ezine articles with the backlink in the author box?

Also do you think that there's a problem with only using Ezine Articles or should I mix it up with other article directories?

People are more likely to visit your site after reading an article on ezines or something because you are offering them something more than just a link. However, if you are just concerned with getting backlinks you should do both.

 

I would suggest article marketing for both traffic and relevant backlinks

 

For Articles............. u need to write the articles........ and if u can't write then............ guess what would be better........
