    Hi guys,

    I need your advise.

presently there is 3 travel websites for 3 differrent languages, they are poorly ranked due to the lack of backlinks, but one of them has PR5

would it be better to focus on the PR5 domain, and transfer the other two sites here, and then permanently redirecting the links using 301 redirect? will it increase my ranking? will i loose the rating for the pages that will be redirected?

please let me know you opinion

No, keep it the way it is. The other two domains have also been building age and therefor trust.
Just make sure you build backlinks for the other two sites as well, from appropriate sites in the relevant country. Linking from the PR5 site to the other sites should also help them.
Travel is a competitive industry, so you will need good backlinks.

If you have different extensions on the domains, this will help too. If your German site is a .de then it will appear on "German sites only" searches on google.de

For some industries, this is really important. And getting some business off the regional Google can keep you going until your site is strong enough to compete on Google.com

I kind of agree with Sadu although Google looks at the IP address to determine local listings for companies. Although in most cases you would need a business license in that country to purchase the domain...

Back to your websites... I actually think you would have a much easier time working with 1 website. Here's why:

    1. with one website you only have to build SEO for that domain.

    2. By having all of the languages on one site you can use the link popularity of your domain to help the rankings of the non-english pages.

    3. You won't have to spend countless hours looking for specific link partners that are only in one langage.

I would do a 301 and move all of that over to the most powerful domain you have. Save some time effort and money....

    thanks guys,

I was thinking of moving 2 of the 3 sites to the strongest domain as well since they are all .com domains

let me know other opinions you have

leave the domains as they are. interlink them to one another using most appropriate search terms. you need to SEO each one of them

PR is really not a factor to judge popularity, its not always proportional

My opinion is : 1 website with 3 languages is better

You must concentrate on one thing, not on three :D

Each has its advantages & disadvantages. Long term I would stick with 3 different domains & link the better one to the other 2.

Even I you would have it all on one domain, you would have to get back links for your keywords in different languanges.

    What are you thinking about:
    - with subdomains: en.yourdomain.com + de.yourdomain.com + es.yourcomain.com ...
    - or with parameters: yourdomain.com/lang_en + yourdomain.com/lang_de + yourdomain.com/lang_es
