I use Bittorrent and whatever link google finds first... Limewire is riddled with viruses as well.

Limewire is worse than Kazaa as far as viruses go. Every time I turned my computer on, over 1k zip files were downloaded to my computer.

    GNUNET - GNU‘s decentralized anonymous and censorship-resistant P2P framework (open source).http://www.gnunet.org/

I prefer emule (eDonkey2000), Azareus (BitTorrent) and GNUNET. With Azareus you can even download over TOR which makes it harder to track you down. I also used bitcomet before but it crashed all the time so I switched to Azareus. And Soulseek is also good for music, but I don't use it. DC++ is also ok, but I wouldn't recommend any Fasttrack clients.

And you should always know what you are doing, filesharing is a popular way to spread malware ;)

Limewire is dire, plenty of viruses to be had there. BitTorrent is the best, when you look at what's available. Althoguh newsgroups are the most efficient way to download, they don't have the selection that BitTorrent has.

    Yeah there is that!

I always use a certain NZB website, if I can't find it on there I use torrents as a backup :)
