Most of the time it is the enthusiasm that is missing.

After developing a long time on the same project, most of the people do not have their fire burning for their project...

Yeah this may happen for different reasons. But more common would be lack of funds or failing to meet customers expectation or may not have enough mechanisms to compete with competitors.

Lack of consistency on my part. That's it. I know what I have to do, I have the experience, but I was sometimes too lazy to do the work :D

It's normal that you fail on some projects, just keep trying over and over again till you succeed. Like they say: a winner is a loser that never quits :)

Impulsiveness. It's a quality I suggest you get rid of as quickly as possible.

I answered this a few years ago in this thread
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1852963

In all honesty I think the biggest of all the reasons was simply procrastination. I knew what had to be done, I knew what was most important but I was in a lazy mindset and that made me do everything except what was important.

I would spend 14 hours a day on tasks that make little difference, but when I was introduced to big affiliates, I put off following up with them until it was to late to even bother! Sounds so stupid looking back, but I'm glad I cracked it. The key is simply to catch yourself doing it and stop yourself. Over time that developes the right habits... ones which turned my life around.

Hai, There is a combination of reasons really! But the most important one, perhaps is that I took it for granted that everyone I dealt with was HONEST like myself!CheersARJacob

The lack of time (bad time management). Wrong expectations. Bad research.

There are many factors which lead to online failure, most times, it is due to bad marketing skills. Business depends highly on marketing. So i think it is mostly because of bad marketing skills.

Lack of interest perhaps has prevented me from getting success from my previous online campaign. Focus, interest and action are a few things essential for starting and keeping a business online.

Never give up on failures. Just keep going until you get the results for your efforts.

I would have to say it can be a lack in good online customer service. Perhaps new visitors do not have familiarisation and the awareness of the businesses brand loyality. Customers need to feel trust and value for a business to become successful. Also if you do not have the time, effort and money to apply a great marketing strategy, businesses today find it difficult to see an immediate return.

It's follow through. Completing 80% of a marketing plan is pretty much the same as not starting at all. The 80/20 rule applies to everything.
