What's another word for 'sign up" for an ezine?

I wanted to have people sign up for my marketing tip of the week ezine on the homepage. I will create a small graphic button that will say, "sign up" and they click on it, to go to the opt-in list. However, I think consumers are just tired of signing up for yet another ezine list. Is there another catch phrase or better phrase to use to capture sign ups rather than the ususal "sign up" button?

I don't think join or subscribe isn't any more effective. I mean, if you think about it, people are sick and tired of 'joining or subsribing to yet another ezine :)

Secret or inside info sounds interesting. I'll have to sit on that one

No they aren't. Stop trying to reinvent the wheel. Instead of worrying about the word "subscribe" or "join," worry about your offer. If you make people want what you have, it won't matter what word you used to get the goods.

marketjunction nailed it. if you make your list sound worth subscribing to, people will subscribe to it.

you can go with the ultra-hype-y "just enter your email below to recieve access to our insider info" or whatever, but that may turn some people off. could always test it and see what works best.

One of my best pulling banners of all time used that technique. It was back around 1995. I decided to make a banner using the idea of telling people what NOT to do. The result was a banner that pulled 500% higher than the previous control. Ah, the good ol' days.
