What's an affiliate referral link? I need lots of people to vote on this, PLEASE

    Hi, what is an affiliate referral link? I don't seem to have a clue by the looks of things from what another forum has suggested because I have been given an infraction for having a site listed in my signature that has a few affiliate referral links on it plus alot of content.

    They clearly state in their TOS that referral links are not allowed, but my link was a link pointing to a site that has referral links on it and not a referral link actually in my signature.

    Please vote as I would like to show this to them after.

    Also moderator can you please merge this thread with http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=357855 as this thread shouldn't have been created. I was in the middle of doing the thread and couldn't fit stuff in the poll so I decided to click the back button and change the whole thread title and first post and didn't realise that this one was created while I pressed the back button. So I now have to posts by mistake. Sorry mods. My mistake.

    Great, it's to late.

    I've already been given an infraction. If a mod see's this then please could you take away my infraction. I made a mistake as shown in post 3 . It took about 3-7minutes before I realise the mistake I had made because I was editing the 2nd thread and didn't realise that the 1st thread had been created. I had replied saying that I made a mistake and to please merge both threads and now I have been given an infraction for a mistake that I made. I produced practually 2 duplicate posts by mistake and was not trying to increase my post count.

    So please could you take this away. It seems that you had seen the thread and given the infraction slighly after I had written the post that I had done the error as shown in post 3.

    Post 3 was written at: 7.38am
    Infaction given at: 7.41am & another given at 7.42am

    As I said it was a general mistake that anyone could have made and was not done deliberately. It seems that I am getting infractions everywhere today. In my time of using forums I have only had 2 infractions and that has been since the last 6 years and today I have now been give 3 infractions on 2 different forums mistakenly.
