Go with Seagate. Don't get a solid state drive, just stick with SATA. Solid state drives are prone to fail on you sooner or later, a year or so, according to studies.

My company has a few thousand hard drives on line (the database is a bit large and, yes, I'm trying for the understatement of the millennium award), and the only drives we'll use are Seagate. We've been through all the major manufacturers, and Seagate has the best actual MTBF. It also is the easiest company to deal with when there's a problem. Toshiba and Samsung aren't bad, but not as good as Seagate. WD? Won't let one into the parking lot, let alone the building.
For hundreds gb, it would be better to put on your choice to Seagate. For thousands gb, it would be better to put on your choice to Western Digital Regards
