You are suggested to use WooCommerce WordPress theme for your eCommerce site because it is Free to use & offers high-quality eCommerce CMS which helps the merchants sell their items online easily.
Moreover, it doesn't insist users go beyond their comfortability when creating their online store. Similarly, it easily opens the door for more than just e-commerce merchandisers.WooCommerce is a rigid platform; hence there is a lot of room to personalize your online store to a level of uniqueness.
It has the capability to assist any striving online merchant startup and run his business smoothly & professionally.

    hope this helps you:)

WooCommerce all the way man. It has everything you need and nothing you don't. With a little common sense and some high quality images of your products, literally anyone can make an A+ webstore. Use with Stripe to accept credit cards, paypal, and bitcoin.

Tried to be simple without a lot of extras and sure to have a white background, users do not want something impressive but something usability, where they will buy in few actions.

dive into ThemeForest.com or CreativeMarket.com and choose the one you like - if you're into design preferences
simply search on google themes that contains your preferred plugins - if you're into technical aspects of your theme

There is a wide choice of ecommerce themes you can apply. However, I'd suggest you to pick WooCommerce themes that are light, compact, responsive and SEO friendly. Most of all, you should make sure they are easily customizable for your webstore as well. Here are a few you can pick for your store:

    Flatsome
    Uncode
    BeTheme
    Avada
    Shopkeeper
    Handmade
    Bronx
    Aurum
    Retailer
    Uberstore

let me know if you liked any of these for your store.

sometimes i look around for successfull stores and check what theme they are using with wp theme detector. I recently found claudio from themealien. Its a cool theme i think, if your brand/product fits the theme.
