What's a good Visitor/Income Ratio?

I'm new to affiliate marketing and am running my first site. I've begun making some money but I was wondering what a typical visitor/income ratio should be? For example 1000 visitors/$10 or something along those lines. I realize there are lots of different affiliate programs that could yield a lot of different answers. I'm mostly curious about PPC type sites...adsense, chitika, kontera type of sites.

    Hi

With adsense I normally work on $1 for every 25 visitors, this will change depending on what your site is about, but 1000 unique visitors appx $40.

Um I am guessing this can vary due to many factors, personally we get :

    10 000 uniques a day.
    Make $60 - $80

So about $6 - $8 for 1000 uniques, obviously we have to pay for hosting, ad's etc ... so that's not all profit.

Great info guys! Thanks. I'm at about 1500 uniques and only $10. lol, not so great but its a brand new site. I'll get it up there...a lot of those visitors were stumbleupon which is sucky traffic.
