    I would like them to beable to format and maybe even spell check there post. whats at free script i can use?

    If I understand what you need, then you cant try to search in you favorite search-engine shoutbox and get results whit many free scripts.

    we use tinyMCE here at work. Seems to work well. Even with pasting from Word.

    I not understand you firs post, sorry. About two month ago I searching same thing like you now and try about five editors. One of these tinyMCE and second ckeditor, three others I don't remember, because I don't like these. So watch demo, try online and choose what better for you.
