I have a lot of extra space on my server. I was trying to come up with a new website to get into creating. What sites do you think has the best target group for google adsense? I'd like to find a site that can bring in a good amount of revenue. Thanks
Definitely not a webmaster targeted topic. Most internet savvy people aren't going ot click on your adds, and many wont notice them at all. You need a niche which is very much information based.

You go to the url inventory.overture.com and check up what was the popular keyword for a particular category. Then start creating niche contents and optimize the keywords. Do a bit of SEO and bring traffic. Sign up with the adsense and that's all!
You hit the nail on the head with that post. I couldn't agree more, and have actually gotten those kind of results when testing the waters with Adsense on a few projects geared towards webmasters. If you want the truth, then doing some market research would probably yield you the best set of answers. Those making a killing with adsense aren't going to reveal their secrets, as a result of a fear of saturation in their niche.

And then once you have a great kick-butt site up and going and your making a killing from adsense - boom, at any time you can be 'smart priced;, and then your adsense is almost worthless after all the hard work LOL.... (speaking from experience) after being online since 1998
Gotta go along with that one, but it's something for the novices for the time being. Get their Internet feet wet.
