I wondering what your opinions are when it comes to the speed of link building. Also, are links from article databank sites worth the money and effort purely for link value. I know quality article marketing is valuable from getting your site known out there, but what about value of the links from these articles? Does Google pay heed? What about Yahoo and MSN search?
You can stick to building 2-3 high quality links per day from different sites. That would look normal, and increase the velocity to 5-8 links per day after a couple of weeks (it's worth noting that Google doesn't index everything immediately). High quality article directories are OK.
Thanks for that. Do you know a good list of quality article directories. I know only of ezinearticles.
There are different ways of link building, 1) One way: In that build link in Directory submission, forum post, blog post and comment, use guest blogging etc. 2) Two way: It is also called as reciprocal link building and its black hat strategy, so avoid it. 3) Three way: In that use three website put site one link in site two and site three link in site one, but do not complete the cycle. These are the standard ways of link building.
all depends on your competition. some low competitive terms can be ranked with few dozen OK links where some mid to higher competitive terms may take hundreds or even thousands of links. some moderately competitive terms, 10-20 decent quality links per day for few months would be a good plan.
The best link building rate is the one that follows the pattern and accelerates it in a controlled way. No sudden spikes or droughts allowed.
