what's a good domain?

    .com is definitely the preferred especially for type-in. If you cannot find what you need in .com then try others.

    Go for .com if it's available.Personally I never register .info domains,they are crap IMHO.If the .com isn't available,I'd go for .net ,.org OR .us domain.

    Definately go with .com over .info if choosing a name for a website. .info isn't really that bad it's just that most people outside of the domaining community don't know what it is and will type in the .com version instead.

    Go for both if you can afford it, .info is cheap. If you can only afford one and the .com is available, then go for .com as that is obviously the #1 extension still. But second to that, as long as you are providing some form of information, .info is your best bet. In my opinion, that is.
