What's a good click thru

What is good click thru rating? I'm currently getting 3.45% CTR, is this good?

My earnings per click seem very low. Can anyone suggest strategies for increasing it? I already heard that having too many ad blocks per page reduces the earnings per click.

3-5% is normal, 15% is where I stop optimizing and move on.

 

i get about 8%

 

8.5% and above is good! Too High might be considered as "Fraud"

It depends on the type of website too... websites like joke sites will tend to have lower average CTR than sites with targetted content.

split testing is cool because there is no guesswork, your visitors tell you what colors/ layouts they like to click most on. likewise they also tell you what doesn't work.

Maybe because my target audience is always webmasters and domainers.

 

%3.45 is very good, mine is about %1 on most channels, but i have a lot of traffic so its all good
