Whats a good amt per click for a travel site?

I run a travel forum:

www.aussietravellersforum.com.au

and all the ads are adsense. What is a good amount to receive per click for this niche? As i seem to be getting about 40c per click. Is that normal?

Travel site is one of good earnings niche, therefore you can easily get 50c - $3 per click.

 

my travel sites avg out to be 0.15 per click

 

any amount is better than none
the amount depends on the DESTINATION of travel and may easily vary by factor 10 or even more.
if destination is popular among travelers and high competition among hotel/resort industry - then eCPM higher. example some asian destinations appear quiet high and i get eCPM of 10 or more $.
however sport travel may be much higher - 3 times or more.

 

For I do not like. Because much competition. I link affiliate program about Hotel

 

u have real competition in travel sites. you must be sure that you are providing valuable and unique contents.. then automatically you will get more clicks which turns to money...
