What's a cookie cutter?

Hi I notice this in the adsense policy and is not sure what it means.

Avoid "doorway" pages created just for search engines or other "cookie cutter" approaches such as affiliate programs with little or no original content.

Anybody knows what a cookie cutter is so that I can avoid making a cookie cutter?

Cookie cutter sites are those already premade sites that the only variation between one and another is the URL. Some programs offer you free premade websites that if you look on the web you'll find a thousand other sites exactly the same

Just in case you don't know, cookie cutters (like these) can be used to quickly stamp out lots of identical cookies; hence the analogy with quickly churned-out, identical crappy websites.
