Al Carlton Is nearly making that much, but from a lot of different sources, not just from adsense.

 

Yes is terrible but what about if you was her, and make that amount of money every month

 

her site was one of the first, and shes on the news towards the end of every month here. Shes from Grand Rapids I believe, Michigan. I punch myself in the nuts for all the years I played age of empires, call of duty and Americas army. in 2000 if I bought the good domains, and built revenue making websites instead of Join my Clan in Age of Empires and Get the latest hacks for Americas Army, i'd be there

 

so she makes 70k a month just from that one website? I don't think she is even in the top places for myspace designs...does anyone know how she is making this type of money?

First off it is true (Or Forbes, Fast Company, Red Herring and CNN that have reported her story cant do their research) and also. If i had a site in the low 8k alexa (With her audience prop 100k unique+ and maybe 300k pageviews a day) $70k a month actually sounds a little low!

 

This is like 4 months old (news wise). I doubt she makes 70,000 anymore.

I wish there was adsense when I was 17. Adsense didn't start until 2003.

Yes this is old news. Her traffic has tanked now with all of her imitators. I read she has other things going like a new TV show for young entrepreneurs

It was just a big marketing ploy (a good one) for some other site. Do a search you will find out who set it up that way.

She does have a lot of traffic though, I wouldn't be surprised if she's making a decent amount.
