With the rapid growth of the Internet, and it becoming an essential part of our life, we tend to use it to store personal information, Eg; text files with phone numbers, e-mail addresses, sometimes even passwords or PINs, etc thinking that as long as the computer has anti-virus software installed, and can not be logged into without a password, the data is safe. That is a fallacy. You must use some program that keeps your personal Data's as personal as you want either by encrypting, or locking down .. So, here I need your suggestion, what is that program that will look after my personal data's and all .. I would be glad to hear you all
I don't understand why people copy and paste questions from "the internet".. As far as the answer goes: 1. Use TrueCrypt full disk encryption. It's free and open source. 2. Use KeePass to store your passwords etc. It's free and open source.

Use Windows Defender to keep your PC safe from spywares and other things. its a good application from Microsoft. - Mr.President -
I use Norton Internet Security and have been using it for more then 3 years now, i dont have any problem with it alot of people say it slows down the PC system but in my view it does not, it all depends on your PC spec if you have a good PC with decent CPU and RAM then you will be able to run it in the background without even knowing.
