I have found on the web site of ServerPoint.com the following info: Wanna hear the opinion of the persons who uses or have used Zeus server. What are advantages and disadvantages of it?
If you use any non apache web server you might be hit with a list of incompatibilities between it and some other softwares/control panels Apache is most used as standard - if you have a dedicated server and you have special needs then you can choose your own http server software I still see lighthttpd as the most competitive server software for apache I had a nice time reading this comparison though
ServerPoint.com must have a quality staff to manage Zeus server. Is Zeus used only for Unix-like platforms?
I think that there are a lot of different ways to get good quality service for the customers. Serverpoint.com seems do good quality. If you are looking for Serverpoint as a customer you have to pay more attantion on their prices and uptime. Some information about Serverpoint.com Uptime: host-tracker.com/check_res_ajx/581732-0/
You will find that Zeus will be compatible with most of your common websites, It has mod perl etc and utilizes all the technologies that apache does. Zeus is used mainly for larger scale websites and is designed more for high-demand websites then your average every day 1k-10k Hit websites. Acouple of my clients need to use Zeus just to keep up with the hits and it also offers nifty features like load-balancing, Clustering and higher speed SSL transactions. You shouldn't have any problems with using it if anything you'll notice performance increases across the board.
