What you think of this lyrics site I started making yesterday?

Started coding it yesterday and now have the database and admin panel fully working. I went for a nice simple yet eye catching design that is easy to navigate. I'm working on the search area and members area shortly and will have comments and user interaction in place later in the week.

Would like to hear your helpful criticism.

I started promoting it a few months back but lost interest in the subject I was promoting for so I decided to try my nose in this market for a while see if I can make a few bucks back.

Pagerank is easy to achieve PR3 on the first update, quality inlinks and few outlinks.

So you think the design fits in? I gathered I was aiming it at a younger audience and most of the competitor websites look boring.

 

reduce the padding on the main menu and the alpha index. i am looking at 1280 wide and both wrap. reducing the padding should fix it and be an easy fix. nice work!

 

Layout is good and colors are funky but I like it. The menu needs more flavor. You could also have your artiste index underneath your menu.

Just started the member system, looking good so far just coding the profiles to allow users to store playlists etc. I'm quite enjoying this project.

 

I really like the site, nice colors. I find it useful!
