    The server is ok, but more important is the ability of administrators to configure it.

    What you need depends on what you're trying to do. It sounds like you don't have a site ready yet, so getting a dedicated server will be overkill. Just get shared hosting or a cheap VPS and upgrade later on. Will save you money and headache.
