    My exp. -
i think adsense is a lot better than adbrite. Firstly, they offer a lot bigger variety of ways to get money - search, contextual words, ref boxes, normal. While adbrite has typical boxes (now they added video though....). For my arcade site, i used to get around 16 - 40 cents from adbrite, mostly cpm. The few clicks came from decieving the clicker lol . Adbrite is not contextual which is the problem. Whose going to click on gambling ads in a kid arcade???

I tried adsense and i immediatly jumped up to 75-1 dollar a day from ACTUAL clicks. none of the bs cpm . Even though adsense might pay less cpc they get a lot more clicks.

Then came my proxy. Through adsense i am getting at least 25 cents per click! Since they are all contextual, my home page gets a 2.5% cpmthis turns in to quite a lot of cash! In fact today i might finally hit the xx$ mark (usually i get around 5-6$, but the day isn't over and im at 9 today )! Through adbrite i failed - made 20$ in 2 months, through adsense I made 75$ in 2 or 3 weeks.

Another thing. Although i hate to admit i did this - i clicked on my ads a lot of times back when i was starting out(A year or 2 back...). Adsense immediatly stopped paying after 3 or 4 clicks, but adbrite - i must've clicked at least a 100 times0.o!!!
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    So what i reccommend -
Adsense if you're actually getting traffic and real people to your site.
Adbrite it you're getting traffic through traffic exchanges and such.

I would vote for adsense rather then going with adbrite.

After all it is a google's product ;)

well i think its a trade off, so in adsense your site is restricted with there TOS, no mp3, no music videos, no nude images, .... etc => less traffic.
but with adbrite it's much loose so you can put almost any thing and have high traffic wich is good for there "time based" ads.

but after all i think adsense is still my choice :)

Yes, Adsense is better in general, mainly because is contextual and getting related ads your conversion rate will be better, but why not to use both? You can put the adsense ads in the better spots of your website getting clicks, and adbrite ads in the bottom or in low places of your site and get a relative good amount with the cpm ads without harming the adsense earnings.

Also if you have a good number of visits, you can get a very good amount with the adbrite direct ads.

    Good luck

Yes you can use both in the same page, because adbrite is not a contextual ad like adsense. Also you can use images next to the ads on adbrite. Adbrite is not so strict as google.

I began to use adbrite as an adsense complement since two months in some of my websites, and considering that adding it didnt lower my click numbers, I think that is a very good complement, mainly in sites with a lot of pageviews, you can maintain your adsense earnings and to add a new income.

    Good luck
