    I use it to pay for some bills / my dedi servers, etc.

    At my high point i was making 400-600 / day with adsense. Since then though, I have stopped using adsense on new websites. I have found it much more profitable to provide a service / sell items.

    Example, I have one site with adsense, and getting 1500 uniques a day on average, earns me around 10 dollars a day.

    My latest site selling products, getting 300 uniques a day, earns me around 75-200 dollars a day from sales.

    That is the best way to go. Selling your products will definitely earn you big. As affiliates you only make peanuts. But selling your own products should only be done after your have good experience being an affiliate. You will learn how to market prppmote and make sales.

    Yeah, definitely agree with you on that.

    I first started opening new online business's selling items, about 2 years ago.

    I found a really nice hunting niche, and I was going to open a website for it. At first I found an affiliate program, that offered 10%. Now I thought for a minute, and something made me research the manufacturer of the product.

    So I found the manufacturer's website, and asked him what I needed to become a re-seller, and all I needed was a state issued re-seller's license, which was like 60 bucks.

    Anyway, by going around the affiliate company, and selling the item myself, I increased my profit margin from the 10% he was offering, to 30-45% depending on what the person buys.

    It is a bit more work, since you will have to answer customer support emails and phone calls, and if the manufacturer doesn't drop-ship, you will need the funds available to purchase a stock at first wholesale, storage to keep your stock in, and then you will have to spend time shipping each day. But personally, I like it a lot better, I find it much more satisfying.

    ^^^^ I agree as well, at least in India, We people are of similar thoughts....Donate a part to a charity or to the poor people's institutions, Old People's Home, but never ever give a penny to he government.:)

    I invest my adsense revenue back into my business - the money is being given to me at no cost to myself other than to display a few ads, so i like to invest mine.
