    Yesterday, Google offered many folks to have their G+ numeric URLs replaced with prettier ones, plus.google.com/+Your Name

    Some facts know about that:
    • Google may eventually charge users for vanity URLs in the future (this is right in the terms of use!).
    • The old url will be 302-redirected to the new one (this is not SEO-friendly, it will break the links pointing to your profile, your profile's Google rankings will have to start fron scratch).
    • The new URLs may not support Google Authorship.
    I am not switching, guys! I see no reason to.

    i switched
    i got authorship
    and all things working fine
    and I get tons of traffic too

    i think vanity custom domain in google+ is awesome and great

    :)
