Movies. TV shows are a bit of a commitment - doesn't make much sense starting to watch a series if you're not planning to finish it. Top Gear is an exception though!
I do watch the odd TV series, but I watch it online (iPlayer) so I don't have to commit to a routine. Series' are okay if you get the DVD's or whatever, then you can watch it whenever.
in my opinion movies are best.because all the movie finished with in a hour but a T.V show ended in a after big space of time. so if you have to watch tv show then you have to be regular for show. but it is not in the case of movie.
Movies for sure, even though there are some great tv shows like midsomer muders but they last only for an hour and i like to have entertainment for longer when i get time.
It depends on what you're looking for. Movies generally have a larger budget and so can afford better graphics and actors, more often than not but are also limited in time. Shows and sitcoms have the inverse of this. Average to above average actors, a decent budget for special effects, but they get to flesh out characters and ideas better than movies can usually.
BOTH movies - last one that was really good : robin hood tv series : watching true blood and vampire diaries
