As some of you readers allready know, I didn't make my first four digits last month. But I did learn something new, thanks to your comments. Especially I like to point the questions that dadasays asked me and the main question was "What do you think you can do to increase your ads' relevancy for your readers?" That really woke me up - have I done everything I can? It brought me back to the drawingboard to re-think what I'm doing. A short look to the channels of my best site - the business directory - told me that re-positioning the ads doubled my CTR and more than doubled the CPM and total revenue. The searchresults are my main revenue channel, but the descriptions I have wrote about shops, those CTR's and eCPM's are twice as good as the one in searchresults. But because there is so many catgegories where I haven't written a word about any shops the traffic in description pages is only 10% of the traffic of searchpages traffic. So what I can do better? I can - and what I'm going to do is - write more content to description pages and find more shops to write about. That' how I can create more traffic to description pages and get more revenue.
