What year did you first use "the internet"?

Probably around 1999 when I were in first year of my bachelor degree. Yahoo mail is the first site which I visited on Internet.

 

1992 and I used the LEXIS-NEXIS site. That's some good stuff.

 

It was 1998, and I mostly searched with Yahoo. During that time I was working on a site called Super Sonic VS Pikachu, but didn't figure out how to upload a webpage until 3 years later lol!

 

Did you ever get a chance to try Goggle back in 1998?

I mainly used Yahoo too.

 

I always used Yahoo back then, until I noticed that the search always said "Powered by Google"... So I decided to go straight to the source and I started using Google instead. Thanks Yahoo!

 

You must have been a kid way back then.

 

I would say about the year 1998, I used to watch the drunken baby by using yahoo to search it up lol.

 

I was late in switching to Goggle...Google on the other hand

 

Back in 1995 using WIN95

 

I can not remember exact year, aroud 1999

 

AOL v.1.0 was my first internets

 

I first used the internet in 1997 but didn't truely appreciate the potential for the little guy until 2001.

if i didn't rememebr wrong it was 1995-1996 those period when i got my first computer. i was using dialup and netscape to browse the net too.

 

LOL netscape!! Hmm.. I think it was in 1999 that I started to really use a computer/the internet for important things. I'm not sure.

 

since 1997 i bought my first Compaq desktop

 

I started using the internet when I was in College during the year 1993 - 1995. It was sometime around that time.

 

I use internet in 1994 1st time.

 

Well about 1999-2000 .. once the internet got to UAE ..
even though i spent too much time in chat rooms and stuff
