I've been wondering about the way content is best written in order to reach seo . I know about the important factors such as keywords, density, and positions of those keywords. If you take all these into account, then you can write an article wich is optimized for the SE's. The thing is ; When you do this, then it will limit your 'space of expression' in your writing, or in other words : the article is written more for a search engine than it is for human reading eyes. I was wondering what kind of strategies for writing for the web succesfull writers use. I could imagine that one tries to find a middle way. But then again. Sometimes it seems that an article is difficult to optimize totally. Also, what are the effects certain ways of writing on adsense ? I believe that most adsense publishers try to control the adsense ads wich appear as much as they can through the content wich they write. Again, balancing act. I'm interested to hear people's experiences with this.. Grs- FOP
I'd stick to writing for humans considering the new phrase-based Google's algo. In general a well written human-friendly article is more likely to be picked up by a popular newsletter or a site than an 'optimized' one. I've bought a book on copywriting ‘Persuasive Online Copywriting: How to Take Your Words to the Bank‘ by J. Eisenberg, it really helps writing good content.
Keep it plain english. Work the Keyword into the content without going way overboard. I find that if you can keep the total word on a single page to around 700-1000 it is best. Some might say less but content is king. Make sure that you have the keyword in the first 15 words and in the last 15 words, this helps alot. The more specific your content is to the ads you wish to be shown the better. if ads show up that are off topic explore the content for words that may be triggering it to happen. Change the ratios of density toward the word you are targeting
